ProfileLyndal Sheepway is the manager of the Macquarie University Speech Clinic, which is a teaching and research clinic of the Master of Speech and Language Pathology program that provides speech pathology services to children and adults with communication disorders. Lyndal is a speech pathologist with experience working with both adult and paediatric populations in rural/remote and metropolitan hospital and community health settings. Her clinical interests include early language development and delay. Lyndal is an experienced clinical educator, having supervised over 200 speech pathology students in hospital, community health and University teaching clinic settings. Prior to her current position, Lyndal gained experience in the management of a University teaching clinic in speech pathology. She also has experience with lecturing in professional development topics related to speech pathology. Lyndal’s research interests include investigating different models of clinical education and methods of supervising students on clinical placements. |
