Conference Dinner

The ALLE conference dinner will be held on the first night of the conference, Wednesday 20th September, at POST, a restaurant in the heart of Sydney and within walking distance Circular Quay where you may wish to continue to socialise after the dinner, in the many bars and meeting places on the water's edge. You can also adjourn to one of a number of the bars in POST itself.

POST is one of a number of excellent restaurants in Sydney's converted old General Post Office. Look around and you'll see some of Sydney's history.  Above the restaurants is the elegant Westin Hotel so don't be surprised if you see contemporary Sydney, spilling out from the CBD offices and mingling with hotel guests in one of the bars on the street entry level. POST is located at 1, Martin Place. This is a walking area in the square which connects Pitt and George Streets (the two main streets going through the city). Conference organisers will greet you at the entry and direct you downstairs to the restaurant where we will enjoy some of Sydney's finest food. Conference delegates usually refer to the evening as "The Sydney Experience".

To enjoy what promises to be a wonderful start to the conference it is essential that you pay for, and order your dinner in advance via the registration form. This will ensure that we can meet the varying needs and choices of everybody. It also means that the chef at POST, who will be choosing fresh produce only that morning, can ensure the best food for the meal.
