Tinnitus treatment programmes are available at Macquarie University, with support services available if required through the Rod Power Psychology Clinic.
Second hand hearing aids are supplied via the SHHH administered Hearing Aid Bank scheme. Donated (second hand) hearing aids are fitted for a small fee to individuals identified by SHHH as being eligible candidates. Eligibility includes hearing loss, financial need, a health care card and medical clearance. There is no warranty offered on second hand devices.
Rehabilitative audiology (individual counselling, communication training, education of significant others) is offered on an individual basis.
