Welcome to Dictionary Research Centre

The Macquarie University Dictionary Research Centre was established in 1986 to promote systematic research in lexicography, lexicology, Australian English and English usage in general. It is associated with the Department of Linguistics , within the Faculty of Human Sciences, and its director is Professor Pam Peters.
