Seminar/Workshop on Online Dictionaries

What makes a good online dictionary? Are the ones available harnessing all the interactive potential of the electronic media? Can the online dictionary provide all the ready information that is on the printed page?
These and other issues will be explored in virtual visits to a set of both and general and specialised online dictionaries. Their strengths and limitations will be discussed in a hands-on session led by James Lambert (Macquarie Dictionary), Jan Tent (Linguistics) and Adam Smith (DRC).
