Master of Applied Linguistics with a specialisation in General Applied Linguistics
The Master of Applied Linguistics with a specialisation in General Applied Linguistics has been designed to cover theoretical and methodological issues relevant to practitioners in a variety of professions whose work is concerned with applied language study. The core units are internationally relevant and focus on the development of discourse analytic skills and understanding the complex relationship between language use and context, and research in these areas. This specialisation appeals to a variety of language practitioners who are fascinated by language and want to explore it in further depth, but without a focus on language teaching.
