Admission requirements
A Bachelor of Arts degree or equivalent and at least two years full-time (or equivalent) relevant professional experience. Special consideration will be given to relevant publications and course development, applicant's immediate vocational needs and possible experiential contribution to the program as a whole.
Length of candidature: 1 year full-time, 2 years or more part-time
Attendance: On campus (evening), by distance
Commencement: March, July

Course Structure

Dissertation
Students who successfully complete the Master of Applied Linguistics (LPM) and achieve a grade of CREDIT (GPA 3.0) or above in their program can apply for entry into the Postgraduate Certificate in Linguistics Research to complete a dissertation.
Minimum Progress
To maintain candidature in the program students must show satisfactory progress by achieving a minimum GPA (Grade Point Average) of 1.5 in each year of enrolment.
Students should be aware that a Fail grade will impact the GPA and they may become at risk of not meeting the minimum requirements of the course.
