Master of Applied Linguistics (TESOL)

Admission Requirements: A Bachelor of Arts degree or equivalent and proof of at least two years full-time (or equivalent) professional language teaching experience in a recognised institution.

Length of candidature: 1 year full-time, 2 years or more part-time

Attendance: On campus, by distance

Some units may be completed online

Commencement: March, July

Unit availability

Minimum Progress
To maintain candidature in the program students must show satisfactory progress by achieving a minimum GPA of 1.0 in each year of enrolment.

Dissertation

Students who successfully complete the Master of Applied Linguistics (TESOL) and achieve a grade of CREDIT (GPA 3.0) or above in their program can apply for entry into the Postgraduate Certificate in Linguistics Research to complete a dissertation.
