Department of Linguistics

Recommended Program

All students with at least a credit average in their undergraduate degree may apply for the Master of Clinical Audiology program.  As of 2010, there are no specific entry requirements for the Masters of Clinical Audiology program. Students from any undergraduate or postgraduate program are eligible to apply. Please see the Entry Requirements for more details:

Students who do not meet the MCAud program requirements (lower than credit average GPA) may consider doing an additional set of units prior to applying for the Master of Clinical Audiology program in order to strengthen their application. There are six recommended non-award units that may be useful to prepare the students for the Masters program (see http://www.ling.mq.edu.au/postgraduate/coursework/ca/mca_qualifying.htm).
Please note that completion of these units does not guarantee admission to the Masters of Clinical Audiology program and students would still need to apply as per University and Master of Clinical Audiology admission requirements (application deadline is Oct 31st). It is desirable that those taking the non-award units achieve at least a credit to strengthen their application.
