Distance Education

Distance Education is the normal mode of learning/teaching for the M.Sc. This means that you can study at home in your own time without having to attend on-campus lectures.

We currently offer 5 core units and you are additionally required to choose 3 optional units. A candidate should be able to complete the degree by Distance Education over two years.

For each distance mode unit you will be given access to unit material and other resources over the web.

For more information about Distance Education visit the Distance Learning section within the Linguistic Department web site. The Centre for Open Education provides some information about what is involved with studying by distance education at Macquarie.
