Exciting Newly Revised Programs From 2012!
From 2012 Macquarie University will be introducing a brand new curriculum to the suite of Translation & Interpreting programs, based on a major critical cutting-edge research project that involved reviewing the whole curriculum with input from students, teachers and industry representatives.
The program has been re-designed to meet the needs of students and the requirements of a globalized T&I industry, and now provides students with the opportunities to specialize in translation or interpreting studies to much a higher level of professional competence, and to select from a range of specialist options in medical, legal, business and technical translation and interpreting.
The new structure of the program sets Macquarie apart from other programs in Australia as it now caters to the needs of both domestic and international students, and demonstrates best practice in educating highly skilled translators and interpreters.
