Description

Realisation of organisational structure in particular patterns of discourse and language use; the impact of organisational change on modes of communication and on worker identity, particularly in response to globalisation, demands for enhanced public participation, transparence and accountability, workplace reform; how discourses of information and policy are created, re-contextualised, transformed and re-interpreted for and by different audiences in the context of work across and within organisations.

Students will need to demonstrate how the content of the unit contributes to or can be incorporated into their proposed doctoral research area.
