Students enrolled in the Master of Applied Linguistics (40CP – all strands), wishing to enrol in the dissertation must first obtain approval from the program convenor. It is expected that students achieve the grade of CREDIT or above in their coursework units if they are intending to enrol in the dissertation option.

Students who intend, or may consider at some future time, continuing on to do either a Master of Arts Philosophy, a Doctor of Philosophy or a Doctor of Applied Linguistics degree are strongly encouraged to opt for the dissertation.

It is strongly recommended that you consult Writing your Dissertation: A Guide, prior to, and during the course.
