TRAN832 Public Speaking

Unit description
The unit is designed to enhance interpreting students' public speaking skills through pronunciation and intonation practice, delivering speeches and debating

Class contact hours: 2hours per week over a semester.

Assessment
Your final grade for the unit will be given on the basis of the joint scores for speeches delivered and participation in class and for the final oral exam. The raw results will be processed to be a fraction of the total of 100, then grades will be assigned according to the table given below:

85-100   HD (High Distinction)
75-84   D (Distinction)
65-74   Cr (Credit)
50-64   P (Pass)
45-49   PC (Pass conceded)
0 – 44   F (Fail)
