Description

This unit is designed to facilitate students' understanding of general workings of economics and international politics and ensure that they have a profound grasp of some major (commonplace) economic and political concepts. The subject is taught with a focus on boosting students' background knowledge for interpreting, and the teaching materials are selected from various sources, largely dealing with the development of current economic and political affairs, both domestic and international. Guest speakers will be invited to deliver speeches in technical areas.
