Description

This course teaches consecutive interpreting by requiring students to present and interpret extemporaneous speeches, thereby improving their understanding of the structural organisation of those speeches. The course also refines note taking techniques and levels up the students’ ability to perceive key ideas. Emphasis is placed on correct style and grammar and polished presentation with proper diction. Students are required to do memory and paraphrasing exercises at home, while building up their own terminology database.
