Postgraduate Research Festival

Postgraduate Research Festival

The Postgraduate Research Festival is an exciting annual event hosted by the Division of Linguistics and Psychology for its postgraduate research students. The Research Festival is held in December each year and all PhD students in Linguistics, Psychology, Macquarie Centre for Cognitive Science (MACCS), and the Centre for the Integrated Study of Animal Behaviour (CISAB) give a presentation about their research. It is a wonderful opportunity for students to receive feedback on their research, and to meet and build collaborative networks with other researchers in the Division. The Festival is largely organised by students and is of a very professional standard.

In 2006 Vice Chancellor Steven Schwartz gave an opening address and presented the inaugural Divisional awards for. A total of 122 students presented their work to a very high standard, either through oral presentations or by sending an e-presentation (for external students).
