Fifteenth Australian Language and Speech Conference

This year's Language and Speech Conference is part of the HCSNet SummerFest: registration for SummerFest includes registration for the conference, as well as a range of other events. Visit the HCSNet SummerFest web pages to find out more and to register.

The Macquarie Centre for Cognitive Science is offering two grants of up to AUS$500 each to cover travel, accommodation, and registration expenses for postgraduate students who present a paper at the conference. For more details, click here.

Date: Thursday December 15 and Friday December 16, 2005
  Hosted by the Speech Hearing and Language Research Centre and the Department of Linguistics, Macquarie University
Venue: Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM) at Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia.
Abstract Submission: Closing date for abstract submissions is October 7th, 2005.

Papers focusing on any area of language processing or linguistics will be considered.

  Abstracts will be published in the Australian Journal of Psychology 2006 Supplement.
