SHLRC Resources
SHLRC has built up extensive research resources. The major features of these include:
- a network of SUN and Windows-based PC workstations running various software systems for speech and language processing.
- a sound recording studio
- a speech perception laboratory
- a speech physiology laboratory which includes airflow/pressure equipment, kinematic equipment for measuring jaw/lip/tongue movement and electropalatographic equipment for measuring tongue contact with the roof of the mouth.
- Audiology and Speech and Language Pathology clinics and related resources.
Corpus Access
- Click here to gain access to various password protected Linguistic corpora. You will need a valid username and password to access these resources.
Hardware Documentation
- Centre members requiring documentation on SHLRC technical facilities should email Faculty IT for instructions on how to access this information.

The EMU project, which originated in SHLRC, is now an international collaborative project and so its home page has moved to the Sourceforge site.
