Resources and Support for Distance Students
There is a high level of support, including access to a wide range of resources, for distance students in Linguistics. Academic staff are available to be contacted by email, fax, and telephone as one would expect, and the Linguistics Department's Distance Learning Office is devoted to dealing with administrative and practical needs, questions and problems of distance students.
The University's Centre for Open Education coordinates the despatch of materials, and receipt and return of hard-copy assignments for distance students in programs across the University.
