The Bachelor of Arts is one of the major "generic" degrees at Macquarie University. Majors can be taken in this degree from most Divisions at Macquarie University. This page only deals with "Programs of Study" (also known as "coherent studies" or "coherencies") offered by the Department of Linguistics. Obtain an aggregate of at least 68 credit points, including at least 38 credit points in units at 200 level or above, and at least 18 credit points in units at 300 level or above, which must include the following approved coherent study:
At least 16 credit points from LING, SPH units.
Obtain an aggregate of at least 68 credit points, including at least 38 credit points in units at 200 level or above, and at least 18 credit points in units at 300 level or above, which must include the following approved coherent study:
At least 12 credit points from LING, SPH units, with 4 credit points from PSY303, PSY315, PSY321
Obtain an aggregate of at least 68 credit points, including at least 38 credit points in units at 200 level or above, and at least 18 credit points in units at 300 level or above, which must include the following approved coherent study:
At least 12 credit points from LING units, with 4 credit points in units from the Departments of Critical & Cultural Studies, English, Media, European Languages or Asian Languages.
Obtain an aggregate of at least 68 credit points, including at least 38 credit points in units at 200 level or above, and at least 18 credit points in units at 300 level or above, which must include the following approved coherent study:
At least 12 credit points from SPH units together with EDUC341
Obtain an aggregate of at least 68 credit points, including at least 38 credit points in units at 200 level or above, and at least 18 credit points in units at 300 level or above, which must include the following approved coherent study:
At least 12 credit points from LING units together with TEP437 and TEP447
Obtain an aggregate of at least 68 credit points, including at least 38 credit points in units at 200 level or above, and at least 18 credit points in units at 300 level or above, which must include the following approved coherent study:
At least 12 credit points from LING312, LING317, LING321, LING341 together with 4 credit points from PSY307, PSY314, PSY318, PSY334
