Description

CAPP 100 has been developed to specifically meet the needs of a diverse group of students for whom English is an additional language. This unit discusses the culture and guiding values of academic and professional writing in Australia by examining how writers present and defend positions and how they relate to the positions of authorities in the field. The unit focuses on the writing of reports and essays, but some consideration is also given making effective oral presentations.
