Description

The unit will be organized as a series of explorations of issues in adult language learning (learner identities; language policy; language ideologies; program development etc.) and will be co-taught by researchers in the AMEP RC. Students will have the opportunity to participate as in an ethnographic research project with adult language learners of English.

Unit Objectives: To gain an in-depth understanding of issues in adult language learning and to provide the opportunity for students to participate in AMEP RC research.

Assessment: Research project (design; conduct; report)
